I am an actuary by training from the Faculty of Sciences-UNAM; I studied a Specialty in Econometrics in the Division of Graduate Studies of the Faculty of Economics-UNAM; I obtained a Master's and Doctorate (with a scholarship from CONACYT and the Carolina Foundation) in Business Studies (actuarial profile) from the Faculty of Economics and Business of the University of Barcelona, Spain. In the Doctorate I graduated with the highest honors awarded to a thesis of that nature, that is, I obtained the grade of Excellent Cum Laude. Later I did a postdoctoral stay at the Center for Economic, Administrative and Social Studies (CIECAS) of the National Polytechnic Institute (IPN). My work experience has been in public education institutions (UNAM, UAEM, IPN, Center for Higher Naval Studies-CESNAV) where I have taught classes in Bachelor's, Specialty, Master's, and Doctorate degrees. In some of these institutions, I developed several research projects, including Basic Science, and formed and created Research Networks (both nationally and internationally). All this accumulated experience has allowed me to enter the National System of Researchers (SNI), Social Area, of Mexico (I have the designation of National Researcher Level I). I am currently attached to the Center for Higher Naval Studies (CESNAV), in Mexico.
