I am a Doctoral Researcher at Loughborough University, focussing on Building Energy Research within the ERBE CDT. My thesis, "Exploring the Thermal Demand Response Potential of UK Dwellings Using Rule-based Control of Electrified Heating Systems," aims to enhance demand-side energy flexibility to enable renewables and save consumers money. My primary research focusses on building physics, building simulation, energy flexibility and sustainable buildings and places.
I am actively involved in IEA Work Annex 82 on Energy Flexible Buildings and engage in discourse regarding research culture by organising workshops and symposia as a former lead rep for the School of Architecture, Building, and Civil Engineering.
