Welcome to my personal figshare! I am interested in how metaphoric languages reveal the way we conceptualise our experiences with the world, such as emotions and time. My other interests are lexicology and lexicography, morphosyntax, linguistic typology, Austronesian linguistics, and data science. My work is mainly couched within the framework of Cognitive Linguistics, particularly Conceptual Metaphor Theory, Frame Semantics, and the usage-based Constructionist approach. I adopt quantitative corpus linguistic and experimental methods. I use R for all things data science.
