Felix Hamza-Lup

Prof. Felix Hamza-Lup’s main research interest is in field of Human Computer Interaction and Human Perception, specifically haptic systems/robotics, augmented/mixed reality and interactive 3D Web-based simulation systems. Felix is also active in the field of handheld, ubiquitous computing, distributed sensors systems and cybersecurity. He currently is involved with research and development on multimodal training and simulation systems in the following areas: medical simulation (laparoscopic surgery), advanced/efficient learning systems (neural networks). Felix is a two time awardee of the Fulbright fellowship for outstanding research and his research projects were awarded grants from several organizations including NASA, MD Anderson Cancer Foundation and NSF (National Science Foundation). Dr. Hamza-Lup has served as principal investigator on several NSF and SBIR (Small Business Innovative Research) grants.
