Yisma Tsige Yeshanew, PhD, holds advanced university degrees and has extensive professional experience spanning various domains. He has served as an expert and director of cultural industry development at the Ministry of Culture, impacting policy and practice. Concurrently, Yisma has pursued an independent path as a dedicated researcher and advocate for inclusion. His career includes collaboration with prestigious international organizations such as UNESCO, where he was the national point of contact for the 2005 Convention. Yisma has also shown project management acumen as a substitute imprest administrator for an EU-funded culture project, Promoting Heritages for Ethiopia's Development (PROHDEV). Yisma has made notable scholarly contributions, with publications in diverse reputable journals. His research interests span culture, diversity, arts, cultural industries, education, child development, disability, and social inclusion.
