Hello researchmate, I obtained Ph.D. Degree from Sociology Department, University of Lucknow, entitled "New Media and Society: A Study of Patterns of Mobile Phone Usages among Professional Students of Lucknow". I'am currently working as Assistant Professor, Sociology Department, R.P.D. College, Meerganj, Bareilly, under M. J. P. Rohilkhand University, Bareilly (Uttar Pradesh, India).

I'am an active life time member of the Indian Sociological Society (ISS) vide LMI-4868 (Member of Ad-hoc Group 01-Digital Sociology; Reserach Committee-13-Science, Technology & Society). I have been presenting papers in various AISC's held annually across India since 2017.

I'am also an active publishing member of the Ethnographic and Folk Culture Society (EFCS) Lucknow's mouthpiece english journal "The Eastern Anthropologist'', as a Life Time Member, including the Life Time Member of Rajasthan Sociological Association (RSA). Very recently, I have contributed as a peer reviewer in a sage journal "Media Watch".

My area of research work is New Media Studies, Digital Sociology/Anthropology in general and Mobile Communication Studies in particular. I am interested in investigating the social consequences of mobile communication systems from a Sociological vantage point. My current interest is to contribute to in the field of Mobile Communication Studies in the Indian context through serious theoretical and substantive researches in order to fill the research paucity by using Sociological Perspectives.
