David Hancock graduated from Manchester Metropolitan University in 1996 and completed a Masters at Liverpool John Moores in 2010. He has appeared in a number of prominent exhibitions such as the John Moores Painting Prize, Young Masters, The New London School (Mark Moore Gallery, LA) and the BP Portrait Prize. He has had solo and group shows across the UK and Europe as well as New York, Los Angeles, Shanghai and Hong Kong. In 2014, he completed a PhD at University of Salford. David's solo exhibitions include Wolverhampton Art Gallery, Touchstones, Rochdale, 20-21 Visual Arts Centre in Scunthorpe, Ruskin Gallery, Cambridge, and The Whitaker, Rossendale, Lancashire.
David is a lecturer at University of Salford, Director of PAPER Gallery, and the Fourdrinier, an online art magazine.
