Geoscientist, interested in regional tectonics, facilitation of Earth Science education and promotion of transdisciplinarity efforts.
The forces engineering plate tectonics intrigue me. They conspire jointly or fight against each other to propel tectonic motions, they scarf and wrinkle the Earth’s surface. Further, they condition climatic and biological evolution on a wide range of spatial and temporal scales. Last but not least, they situate earthquakes and volcanic centers that lead to devastating natural disasters affecting humankind. Understanding the forces engineering plate tectonics provide the key motivation for my main research goals.
