Darius Vasco Koester

Darius Koester is interested in the interactions of the cellular plasma membrane and the actin cytoskeleton. During a PhD under Pierre Nassoy and Christophe Lamaze at the Curie Institute in Paris, he studied the mechanical role of plasma membrane buds in cells. Currently he uses an in vitro system to study principles of actin driven membrane organisation in the lab of Satyajit Mayor at NCBS in Bangalore.
