With a Law degree from the Autonomous University of Sinaloa; Bachelor’s Degree in Criminalistics from the ITESUS, Master’s Degree and PhD from the UNAM, she is currently a full-time Level ‘C’ Associate Researcher, as well as candidate to be a member of the National System of Researchers (SNI). Her lines of research are procedural law, legal epistemology, legal constructivism, legal philosophy, teaching law and methodology for legal research. Her main areas of interest are general theory of procedure, procedural systems and the principle of orality, assessment of evidence, neurosciences and law, artificial intelligence and law, and forensic sciences. She is currently working on a project entitled “Steps toward New Procedural Law Dogma with Special Reference to a General Procedural Code”. She teaches Legal Epistemology, Legal Methodology and Criminal Oral Trials. She has also taught continuous education courses for several institutions.
