Bipasha K is a PhD Candidate in School of Engineering, Deakin University (with a scholarship from CSIRO, DATA61) and working in collaboration with the Murdoch Children's Research Institute and The Florey Institute of Neuroscience and Mental Health. Her areas of interest are Bio-engineering, Wearable sensor-based device design, Acoustic engineering and Data Science. She has received many awards, fellowships, been profiled in the media and her work has been published in esteemed scientific journals. Her major academic accolades include - 2016 Best Electronic Project Award at Masters level in Electronics Engineering (Deakin University), presenting her project to the then Prime Minister (Mr Malcolm Turnbull) amidst eminent engineers in Engineers Australia, a recipient of 2016 Victorian fellowship in Veski inspiring Women Industry Internship, 2020 Visualise Your Thesis (Deakin University) First Place and People's Choice Award.
