Dr. Dash had been teaching English communication for Specific Professional for past 12 years under Biju Patnaik University of Technology, Odisha. That before he taught Sociolinguistics and Translation Studies to the PG students of Sociolinguistics at Utkal University of Culture, Odisha. He has presented on a variety of issues relating to the barriers to communication, students readiness, ESP/ELT and translation studies in International Journals and Conferences. He earned his Master of Arts in Linguistics from Berhampur and Master of Philosophy in Applied Linguistics from the CALTS, University of Hyderabad and a Doctorate in Linguistics/ELT from Dravidian University. His research area includes Translation Theory & Practice, Applied Linguistics, Odia as a Classical language & development and the Language Teaching.
