I am a Journals Data Scientist for the American Astronomical Society. I: manage digital data for AAS research journals; ensure coordination among AAS editorial teams according to on-going policies; ensure quality of digital data; communicate program needs and policies to authors; support authors as necessary to facilitate their production and publication of data sets; support research and development for AAS journals. I also conduct scientific and education (K-12) STEM research. Before 2014 I worked at the Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory on the Virtual Astronomical Observatory.
