Dr. Abdul H. Wando is a researcher who completed a PhD at King’s College London (2022). His thesis is entitled “The NGOisation of Borno, Nigeria in response to the Boko Haram Insurgency (1990-2021)". During his PhD he also worked as a Tutor in World History to undergraduate students at King’s College London. Wando’s research interests include post-conflict aid, Boko Haram, international policy, modern African history, and development. He previously worked at Neem Foundation, a humanitarian and development-focused NGO operating in Borno State and across Nigeria.
