أطروحة الإخراج النسوي في السينما الجزائرية.pdf
This study examines the phenomenon of female directing in Algerian cinema, focusing on the specific experiences of Algerian female filmmakers and how their productions are influenced by political, social, and cultural discourses in both local and Western societies (in the case of Francophone directors). It is not possible to study this phenomenon in isolation from its broader context, which is the phenomenon of female directing on the global scene between the white West and the coloured East, each with its distinctive discourse. Going further back, we find that filmmaking is a process centred on the creative individual known as a director/writer, with the director's specificity being a psychological, social, ideological component. This holds true for female directors and filmmakers as well.
