Oral Health and Dysphagia in the Global Ageing Population: A Scoping Review

This Master’s Thesis investigates the association between oral health and dysphagia in the ageing population through a literature scoping review. It provides insights into public health implications, emphasizing the importance of oral health management in addressing dysphagia-related challenges among older adults.

The research highlights:

Supervisor: Professor Richard Watt (Director of Research, Development and Innovation, Central North West London NHS Foundation Trust, and Professor and Honorary Consultant in Dental Public Health, UCL).
Professor Watt also serves as the Director of the World Health Organisation Collaborating Centre for Oral Health Inequalities and Public Health at UCL.
