Extended gravity-model

This repository contains all python code needed to produce the spatial population projections that are described in the reference. We provide code to

1) produce the distance matrices needed as input for the model

2) running the calibration of the model

3) producing the projections based on the calibration

4) performing a model validation

5) performing a sensitivity analysis.

To run the code you need the input data mentioned in the referenced publication or an equivalent dataset. The model should be executed in order of the code prefix numbers. Before running the code make sure you have downloaded all necessary liabaries and have changed the working directory in the code.
