BeAR: beige adipose area calculator (image analysis software)
This image analysis has been developed by Gopal Karemore, for the Röszer Laboratory at Ulm University, Germany. The software allows the easy and semi-automated analysis hematoxylin and eosin-stained of adipose tissue sections to determine the area of so-called beige (brite or brown) adipose tissue.
