Ecosystem Processes and Dynamics Steering Group (EPDSG) 2025 Resolutions

<p dir="ltr">​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​The Ecosystem Processes and Dynamics Steering Group is responsible for guiding and supporting expert groups that study the state and resilience of marine ecosystems and food webs, as well as the life histories, diversity and interactions of component biota.<br></p><p dir="ltr">Topics covered include:</p><ul><li>oceanographic characteristics of marine systems and their influences on population, food web and ecosystem dynamics</li><li>origins and transformations of matter in biogeochemical and production cycles.</li><li>measuring, understanding, reporting and forecasting the dynamics of populations, food webs and ecosystems</li><li>life histories, diversity and ecology of microbes, phytoplakton, zooplankton, benthic invertebrates, cephalopods, crustaceans, fish, and other top predators​</li><li>ecosystem services</li><li>ecosystem resilience</li></ul><p dir="ltr"><b>2025 Resolutions (applicable for meetings to be held in 2025 and 2026); resolutions from November 2025 to October 2026 are named ‘2025 resolutions'.</b></p>
