In 2017 The Nature Conservancy, the University of Louisville Envirome Institute, and Hyphae Design Laboratory launched the Green Heart Project, a five-year, first-of-its-kind medical study that is planting trees in strategic locations across a cluster of Louisville, KY neighborhoods and observing precisely how they impact residents’ health.

This webinar features Dr. Aruni Bhatnagar, Director of the Christina Lee Brown Envirome Institute; The Nature Conservancy’s Director of Urban Conservation, Chris Chandler; and Joy L. Hart, PhD, Professor of Communication and Executive Director of the University Honors Program at the University of Louisville, in a discussion about the study’s objectives, the challenges and opportunities it represents, and the outcomes and takeaways to date.
