Single-Molecule Localization Microscopy: Theoretical Basis and Practical Guide
A Single-Molecule Localization Microscopy (SMLM) lecture for life scientists was given virtually during the “Widening the Lens” Microscopy Education program at the Vanderbilt University, Nashville, TN, USA, on December 7, 2022.
During the presentation, I gave the students an overview of practical aspects and the theoretical basis of SMLM (including sample handling, hardware, and image processing aspects) with the aim of making them more literate when dealing with such datasets and/or attempting to do their own measurements and analysis.
References of all used figures and videos are given. Please feel free to contact Ulrike Boehm in case of questions.
