Road Evaluation
Road evaluation in terms of cracks, crack types, patching, potholes, and distress levels is a crucial process to ensure the safety and quality of road infrastructure. This study focuses on analyzing different types of cracks, such as longitudinal, transverse, and alligator cracks, as well as assessing the impact of potholes and patching performed on the road surface. Cracks are classified by type and severity, and the overall condition of the road is evaluated using visual inspections and testing techniques such as roughness tests, skid resistance, and load-bearing capacity tests. Distress levels for each section are determined based on the observed defects, and the extent of required maintenance or rehabilitation is identified. Finally, the serviceability percentage for each road section is calculated according to engineering standards, and recommendations are provided for the best solutions to improve or rehabilitate the road, ensuring its sustainability and efficiency for future use.
