Pelican: Advancing the Open Science Data Federation Platform

Pelican is an NSF-funded project for creating data federations to serve Open Science. This presentation discusses the project, its merit, and intended uses, as well as the flagship federated platform tied into the United State's national cyber infrastructure, the Open Science Data Federation (OSDF).
