As ORCID iD adoption increases in Canada and stakeholders throughout the country integrate ORCID iDs in their workflows and systems, research administrators can ready their university to make the most of this community supported persistent researcher identifier. ORCID iDs are unique identifiers for researchers – like Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs) for articles and datasets – and are an essential part of sustainable research management systems. Through out-of-the-box or custom ORCID integrations, universities and other research institutions can streamline data sharing between systems, improving efficiencies and reducing the administrative burden for both research administrators and researchers. In this webinar, learn about different ways to use and integrate ORCID across common systems, as well as how to leverage the member API at the institutional level, to get a sense of how ORCID can help your institution.
