Jenkins as a Scientific Data and Image Processing Platform

This presentation describes the use of Jenkins-CI, a popular open source, continuous integration server, as a platform for scientific data and image processing platform. Jenkins-CI includes several useful features that support process automation, scalability, data pipelining, collaboration, and reproducibile research. We demonstrate how we have used Jenkins-CI in combination with CellProfiler (an open source image analysis software) to efficiently process thousand of images from high content screening campaigns.
