DORA past, present and future (and what it means for Imperial College)

Slides for the talk given by Professor Stephen Curry at the Mapping the Future of Research Assessment at Imperial discussion forum held at Imperial College on 21 Sept 2018.

The talk gives the background to the San Francisco Declaration on Research Assessment (DORA), explaining the weaknesses and perverse effects of some common citation-based metrics used in research assessment, and discussed what it means for Imperial College to have signed DORA.
