An introduction to single cell RNA sequencing and clinical applications

Due to the high heterogeneity within a tissue, even within the same type of cells, there are huge advantages for single cell RNA sequencing technology (scRNAseq) over bulk RNA sequencing. ScRNAseq will allow us to look into genome-wide gene expression at single cell resolution and explore the differences between patients and health people in different cell types/subtypes, with the big potential for predicting the targeting cell type and markers for early diagnosis or therapy.
