This research paper presents Hostel Hub, a web-based platform designed to enable students residing in hostels to buy and sell second-hand items efficiently within their campus environment. The platform facilitates peer-to-peer exchanges, enhancing sustainability and affordability for students. The application is developed using Java Spring Boot for the backend and React.js for the frontend. This paper discusses the system architecture, development process, key features, and potential future improvements including IoT-based inventory management. Hostel Hub aims to foster a digital, eco-friendly, and student-centric marketplace tailored for hostel communities.
