We present a guide for Community Asset Mapping (CAM) in migrant health, designed to support researchers, practitioners, and community organizations. This guide does not prescribe a universal standard; instead, it provides general principles within a flexible, step-by-step framework that can be adapted to the characteristics of each migrant community. Drawing on the UCLA C-CAP framework and our own CAM conducted in the United States in 2024, we illustrate how the process can be applied in practice. Using examples from our experience, we identify key opportunities as well as limitations that are unique to migrant populations. We aim to equip public health professionals and community stakeholders with a practical, adaptable tool that facilitates context-specific approaches to advancing migrant health.
