<p dir="ltr">Urbanisation in Lagos, Nigeria, has intensified pressure on sanitation infrastructure, with many low-income households lacking private toilets. Public toilets serve as critical facilities in markets, schools, and health centres, yet their functionality and inclusivity remain underexplored. This study assessed the condition of 17 publicly owned toilets in Agege Local Government Area (LGA), Lagos, to identify infrastructural, management, and hygiene gaps.</p>
