The EVs were introduced to minimize the CO2 footprint. The UK's strategy outlines the vision and action plan for electric vehicle and charging infrastructure rollout, aiming for the end of new petrol and diesel vehicle sales by 2030 and full zero-emission tailpipe vehicles by 2035.

Many questions arise regarding the broader impacts of electric transportation. While reducing CO2 emissions is a primary objective, it's essential to recognize that the transition to EVs also has social and economic implications that may exacerbate existing inequalities. This publication investigates on potential injustices by examining various perspectives, including those of government entities, EV manufacturers, and impacted communities. By fostering a deeper understanding of these complexities, the aim is to facilitate informed dialogue and decision-making around the transition to electric transportation, ultimately striving for a more equitable and sustainable future.
