Country risk is an important element in strategic planning. This Quick Read shows a quantitative method for assessing market (demand) and financial risks. It covers 213 countries and uses data from 1983 till 2023.The data are from 𝗧𝗲𝗹𝗹𝘂𝗕𝗮𝘀𝗲.

It fascinates me that GDP time series in various flavors can be used for a quantitative risk assessment like this. Three data series, and nothing else except for clever analysis. The important thing is not to get sidetracked by ifs and buts.
