Staffing requirements in German psycho-oncology according to type of care (liaison, consultation model)

On the basis of German epidemiological studies on distress in oncological patients (burden and desire for support) as well as empirical data on the volume of services provided by psycho-oncological staff (care according to the liaison model versus the consultation model), estimates of demand are presented.
