This document presents policy recommendations aimed at enhancing gender equality in Sierra Leone’s secondary and tertiary education systems. It examines the existing barriers faced by female students in accessing quality education, proposes strategies for reforming curricula to promote gender inclusivity, and outlines policy measures to ensure equitable opportunities for both genders in educational settings. The recommendations are based on a comprehensive review of current educational practices, highlighting the importance of systemic change in fostering an equal educational environment for all students.
