Improved Fit to GW190521 Using aCompactified 5D Timefield Model
We demonstrate that a compactified 5D timefield model, which introduces
frequency-dependent gravitational wave dispersion via a curved temporal dimen-
sion, produces a better fit to real data from GW190521 than General Relativity
(GR) alone. Using post-Newtonian inspiral models adjusted by -curvature-induced
phase shifts, we compare generated waveforms against LIGO Hanford strain data
and observe a reduction in RMSE by 19.4%. These results provide the first em-
pirical signal-level evidence for a fifth time-like dimension influencing gravitational
wave propagation.© 2025 Nathaniel MacDonald.
