Ethics is often defined as a guide shaping an individual’s moral choices and understanding of right and wrong. However, from a deeper perspective, the essence of ethical rules relies heavily on a societal framework. Ethics should be regarded not as a collection of individual preferences, but as a set of collective norms that ensure a society’s order and continuity. Therefore, the link between ethics and law is much stronger than it appears at first glance.
