A Study on Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan and Inclusive Education in Madurai District

Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA) in Madurai district is underway and 3,236 children have been covered by the Educational Department Officials.

Objectives :

1. To study the Status of Enrollment of primary school children in Madurai District from 2002-2003 to 2011-2012.

2. To analysis the Gender Equality and Marginalized children in terms of Educational attainment and educational opportunities.

3. To Evaluate the Quality of education received by the children at the primary level

4. To find out the problems involved in incentives available to the children at the primary level and

5. To offer suitable suggestions for strengthening SSA and Inclusive Education.
