Controlling global warming is now urgent. Here, we propose a cost-effective and permanent method to regulate the global climate: installing underwater ocean current turbines at the location where the ocean current passes through the Bering Strait to slow down the current speed, reduce the flow of warm currents entering the Arctic Ocean, and thus prevent the melting of the Arctic glaciers. At the same time, the ocean current can be harnessed to generate electricity, achieving two goals at once.
