This symposium aims to bring together a group of internationally-recognized pronunciation scholars who are primarily working in the Midwest to envision the future of pronunciation research by establishing a set of principles that will advance the state of the art and generate pedagogically relevant findings. This poster proposes a set of principles around read-aloud tasks in longitudinal studies.
