This paper explores the alignment of Web3 design principles and values with the design elements of 15 pioneering Web3 businesses. By analyzing key aspects such as color palettes, typography, shapes and patterns and design styles and frameworks the study identifies how these platforms embody Web3’s ethos of decentralization, user empowerment, transparency, inclusivity, and trustlessness. Comparative analysis and discussions highlight similarities and divergences in their approaches, while implications for future Web3 design trends are proposed. This study provides actionable insights for designers and businesses building the next generation of decentralized platforms.
