Trindade Island (ES) first thermochronological data using U-Th/He method in apatites.

Thermochronology allows scientists to unravel the conditions of genesis and evolution of rock formations. The Trindade Island is the last volcanic event occurred in Brazil. It represents the Vitória?-Trindade alignment end a series of alkaline rocks occurrences-oriented west to east, cutting the southeastern region and extending to the sea. Trindade is favorable to studies because it´s features and structures of the original volcanism offer clues of how other volcanic events on the alignment were.
