<p dir="ltr">Poster presented at: 2025 American Association of Physics Teachers Summer Meeting, August 2-6, 2025, Washington, D.C.</p><p dir="ltr">Poster title: Taylor series derivations of 1-D constant acceleration kinematic equations</p><p dir="ltr">Poster abstract: In this poster I present the straightforward but not yet widely known Taylor series derivations of the familiar kinematic equations for uniformly accelerated one-dimensional motion, and provide links to student-accessible video resources for potentially interested instructors. The Taylor series approach provides an opportunity to introduce and discuss the jerk and higher-order kinematic derivatives, which emerge naturally in the course of the x(t) and v(t) derivations and which are important in a wide array of real-world applications.</p>
