OnCoGen Poster

OnCoGen is software toolkit that provides a solution to the problem of technical and tedious cyberinfrastucture development for scientific project metadata management. Leveraging modern web technologies -- Docker, Flask, and SQLAlchemy -- along with semantic web standards like OWL, RDF and RDFS, OnCoGen generates a containerized suite of intconnected services with connected database infrastructure intializaed with your tables and your schema. As these containers are generated from a formal ontology specifications this software simultaneously promotes FAIR data management practices by encouraging researchers to begin new projects by defining critical schema and ontologies in machine readable formats.
