This Figshare address is the dedicated Internet resource for the ECCOLA method. The ECCOLA method is helping software engineers and product managers to take ethics into account when developing software systems powered by artificial intelligence. The method has been iteratively developed using a cyclical action design research approach.

The Figshare resource contains the ECCOLA cards, which can be downloaded and used in industrial and educational projects. Each of the ECCOLA cards has a unique id. As the research around the ECCOLA method continues, new versions of the cards will be published.

ECCOLA is based on scientific research. The scientific article introducing ECCOLA: Vakkuri, V., Kemell, K-K., & Abrahamsson, P. (2020) ECCOLA - a Method for Implementing Ethically Aligned AI Systems, Presented in Euromicro DSD/SEAA 2020 Conference. Preprint accessible online at bit.ly/eccola-for-ai-ethics
