Multi-messenger Astrophysics (MMA) is a nascent field that aims to discover some of the most rare astrophysical sources using a combination of gravitational wave, electromagnetic, and high-energy particle observations. Identifying kilonovae and other enigmatic events that shape the chemistry of our Universe requires robust, low-latency communication between scientists working with disparate facilities and scientific collaborations, each with their own proprietary data agreements. The Scalable Cyberinfrastructure for MMA (SCIMMA) group has been building Hopskotch: a Kafka-based cloud-deployed messaging system to meet these requirements for major experiments, with federated identity and access management, archiving, and a rich client library. HERMES (Hopskotch Enabled Real-time Message Exchange Service) is user-friendly, web-based GUI that enables machine-readable messages from any astronomer, and interfaces with other major services from NASA and other providers. I'll describe these projects, and our early work to combine the heterogeneous datasets, searching for the ghosts of signals that become significant when combined.
