Report on Phase II of the Excellence Action Plan of China's STM Journals

This report outlines Phase II of the Excellence Action Plan for China’s Scientific, Technical, and Medical (STM) Journals (EAP) which was released by the China Association for Science and Technology (CAST) on September 30, 2024. Phase II builds on the achievements of Phase I (2019–2023) to transform individual journal developments into an integrated, ecosystem-based approach for 2024-2028. The report explains the EAP’s five key components of the plan, the applications received, and the organizations and journals selected for support. It also details the financial support offered and the requirements and obligations of the awardees.
