This study investigated longitudinal changes in theta-band EEG cordance across cortical regions in healthy adults over an average follow-up of 6.4 years. Using quantitative EEG and Leuchter’s cordance algorithm, we assessed both trait-like stability and region-specific changes in neural activity. Significant declines were observed in right frontal and temporal regions, suggesting asymmetric aging effects in cortical physiology.
