The translated and validated modified Arabic version of the Postgraduate Hospital Education Environment (PHEEM)

This is the modified validated Arabic translation of the Postgraduate Hospital Educational Environment Measure (PHEEM). Items from 1-40 are the same as the original PHEEM as proposed by Roff (2005). There are ten additional items designed to address the unique context of the war-affected Syria. Items from 41-50 relate to the measurement of available resources, patients’ violent behavior towards doctors, psychological and physical well-being of resident doctors as well as the retention rate of thereof.
