A novel beta carotene-producing, xenobiotic-degrading, and heavy metal-tolerant strain of Sphingobium yanoikuyae strain CC4533, (hereafter stated as CC4533) was isolated from a contaminated Tris-Acetate-Phosphate medium culture plate of the green micro-alga, Chlamydomonas reinhardtii wild type strain CC4533. We have sequenced the whole genome of CC4533 and have submitted the genome data in NCBI (GenBank accession number:GCA_027627615.1). CC4533 genome comprises of one circular chromosome and four putative circular plasmids (pAS1, pKN1, pMM1 and pTB1). The word file labeled Table 1 CC4533 Figshare contains PacBio sequencing information and assembly statistics of five contigs. The five gbk text files have annotations of the chromosomal and plasmid genes. The genome was annotated using the NCBI Prokaryotic Genome Annotation Pipeline's (PGAP's) annotation method using the best-placed reference protein set; GeneMarkS-2+ with the annotation software version 6.10 revision 2025-05-06.build7983 (https://github.com/ncbi/pgap/releases) on our computer on 10-10-25.The word file labeled as Table 2 CC4533 Figshare contains a summary of the PGAP annotation of the five contigs.
