These are the evaluation tools used to monitor the impact of the Science Sketch-a-nory project on the artists and researchers who brought the project to life. They are pre- and post-event postcards that could be printed double sided. This keeps the individual responses together.

What is Science Sketch-a-nory?
Science Sketch-a-nory was a public engagement with research project generously funded by the Institute of Physics Public Engagement Grant Scheme. It brought together PhD students from the EPSRC and MRC Centre for Doctoral Training in Optical Medical Imaging (OPTIMA) together with freelance artists from the community. Over a series of speed networking and sketching sessions, fueled by pizza, those involved identified who they wanted to collaborate with to create an image. Each artist was then paid a commission to produce an artwork that responded to the science of the PhD student in just 4 hours! These artworks were then shared through social media channels during EXPLORATHON 2020, on Figshare, and printed copies were given to the students.
